IGA Taste Great Southern Festival 2015

IGA’s 11th Taste Great Southern Festival is a vinous, gastronomic and performing arts fiesta taking place throughout Western Australia’s Great Southern region throughout March.

Headline cook, TV presenter and writer Adam Liaw together with Mark Olive will be supported by WA’s best loved food personalities including Anna Gare, Russell Blaikie and Don Hancey with Albany local Dan Sharp. It is anticipated that over 45 individual events will be hosted at participating vineyards, restaurants and public venues - ranging from farmers markets, guest chef cooking demonstrations, degustation dinners, beach BBQ’s and picnics as well as stunning performances from the 2015 Perth International Arts Festival repertoire.

2015 highlights will include ‘The Albany Oyster Festival’, the popular Mount Barker Graze, and the annual Porongurup Wine Festival and its ‘One Wok Wonder’ cook-off.

All the major sub-regions of the Great Southern will unite in presenting Taste 2015, with the region set to celebrate fine produce, fine wine and community spirit in earnest.
