The Step Up To The Plate synopsis is below…
In 2009, Michel Bras, at the head of a 3-star restaurant (Michelin guide), in the heart of the Aubrac region, decides to hand over to his son Sébastien. A father and his son. Both at a crucial time in their careers. Is it possible to pass on one’s life’s work? Is it so easy for a son to make a name for himself? This film is the story of a family over three generations, a fine reflection on passing down know-how, on heritage.
Step Up The Plate is now showing at the following Australian cinemas:

What I usually plate up for dinner chilli con carne, onions garlic mince tin tomato soup tin tomatoes chilli powder fryed then slow cooked in a pan walla! There it is.
Cold noodles with soy sauce, chilli powder, garlic mixed to make a sauce and a fish stock to make it a soup
What I usually plate up for dinner is a Korean dish called LA Galbi, which is strips of beef short ribs, marinated in a special sauce. We barbecue the meat, and then once it is cooked, we wrap the meat in the sesame seed leaf, and eat it with a dipping sauce. Sometimes we have the meat mixed in a salad. It’s really delicious.
I usually plate up a vegetable korma and onion pakoras. It’s a real favourite at our house.
As a student who live by myself, I tend to cook the easy simple fast dishes. What I usually plate for dinner is stir-fried beef/chicken with veggies (I love spinach the most) and minced garlic+onion. I can’t live without rice so I most likely to have it with rice. Yum!

I tend to cook something different every night, clean fresh and heathy food only. Anything from salads, seafood, soups, pastas, curries. Teaching kids to cook along the way and because they help they find their meals the yummiest. We live roast pumpkin and chickpea korma and fresh crisp salads or stir fries
I just love to whip up a fresh vege stir fry with either meat or chicken. So easy to make and great for experimenting with different flavours.
I usually plate up a nice tender steak with some mash potatoe and vegies, nice quick and has a bit of everything!
I have a variety of Aussie, Irish, Italian and English foods as i use alot of hand me down recipes from family
I try and make some healthy recipes that include meat and vegetables. I’m loving using different marinades to make the meat extra tasty!
