Sushi Wawa Perth’s new Japanese hot spot

Sushi Wawa, InnalooWith a 62-metre sushi train – the longest in the Southern Hemisphere – new Japanese restaurant Sushi Wawa has opened its doors, bringing the convenience of super-fresh, fully-authentic Japanese cuisine to Perth.

Named in honour of its home state (‘WA’) and located opposite Ikea, Sushi Wawa boasts a stellar line-up of accomplished Japanese chefs. Head chef Hiroaki Fujioka (formerly of Nobu Perth) leads sous chefs George Yamahara (previously Satsuki), Mitsunori Nishida (ex Jaws), and junior sous chef Hidenori Otani (ex Rockpool).

An open kitchen takes centre stage, where more than 110 varieties of sushi, sashimi and sumptuous hot and cold dishes are created with the amazing flavour, flair and artistry synonymous with Japan. Each dish is crafted fresh, using top-quality local seafoods and produce delivered daily.

Access is straight off the Mitchell Freeway (exit Cedric Street), with plenty of convenient car parking available.
