Top 5 Perth Eats & News - November

I’ve been a bit obsessed with Perth food trucks and bars of late. Needless to say November was filled with more eating and drinking than usual (yep that is possible)! For some cool Perth bars to visit and a bit of fun, be to sure to also have a read of my post about a coconut named Joe who went on a bit of a Perth Bar Crawl during Eat Drink Blog (a national food blogger conference). Top 5 Perth Eats

#1 Five Bar’s reuben sandwich on rye - I heard raving reviews about Five Bar’s reuben sandwich and when I finally had one it did not disappoint. The pastrami, swiss cheese and sauerkraut with 1000 Island sauce is just amazing. Although pricier than the reuben I had at Sherbet, the size makes up for it.

#2 Marcelita’s Empanadas – I can’t get enough of the pulled pork and lime empanadas. I had these twice in November - once at Eat Drink Blog 4 and again the following week at the Beaufort Street Festival. I always forget to take a photo before taking a bite so here’s my friend’s empanadas ($10 for three including a sauce) I usually have mine with guacamole rather than the chilli sauce featured.

#3 Clarence’s potato skins served with chorizo salsa & sour cream ($8) - oh these were so tasty. I could have had this whole plate to myself and then some. I loved the chorizo salsa which was different and absolutely worked with the potato skins and sour cream.

#4 Delish Ice - we were spoilt with unlimited Ice Pops at Eat Drink Blog. You’ll find Delish Ice out and about at festivals and markets. They also do packages for parties - I feel like throwing a party just so I can have more unlimited Ice Pops.

#5 European Foods Eat Drink Blog 4 feast - these guys fed us very well! From gourmet pasta salads to antipasti…the European Foods spread was just amazing.
