I came home from my Vietnam foodie holiday to sample test Marion’s Kitchen Malaysian Curry ($6.99). I was keen to cook burger boy an effortless home cook meal which tasted like I had spent time in the kitchen, so the meal kit was perfect!
I had 750g of chicken thigh in the freezer which I defrosted during the day and potatoes in the pantry. So I was pretty happy that I didn’t have to leave the house (and could spend my day washing my new wardrobe).
Marion’s Kitchen Malaysian Curry was super easy to cook - each of the packets inside the box were labelled 1, 2 and 3 with clear instructions!
All I had to do was prepare the chicken thigh and potatoes and wa-la dinner was ready. This is my Malaysian Curry. There were plenty leftover for lunch the next day
Taste-wise it was not far off my mum’s chicken curry. Marion’s Kitchen Malaysian Curry just took the thinking out of cooking which I love on a weeknight after thinking all day at work.
If you’ve been following my blog, you would have read my interview with Marion Grasby last year. Marion is madly passionate about her Thai food, so it’s great to see her meal kit range take off.
What better way to celebrate National Curry Day (21 August) this month than with a new curry! Marion’s Kitchen meal kit range also includes Pad Thai, Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry, Singapore Noodles, Thai Basil & Chilli Stir-Fry and San Choy Bow. I hear from my foodie fans on facebook that the red and green curries are really tasty!
Marion’s Kitchen range can be found in most Woolworths, Coles and some independent stores. Visit www.marionskitchen.com.au for more details.
