Pancakes at Carillon is one of my favorite places to go for pancakes in Perth. I love that there’s a great range of pancakes and crepes to choose from as well as other menu items when I feel like something savory.
Although tempted by Belgian Waffles which are served with cream and ice cream and a choice of caramel or chocolate fudge…we ended up ordering my trusty strawberry jam pancakes which like always tasted amazing. For $10.90, it is just heaven, you get two fluffy buttermilk pancakes covered in strawberry jam, with ice-cream and cream!
Mushie & I also shared the Tabriz Crepe which I thought had a Mexican flavor to it…I wasn’t a fan but I am going through a phase where I’m just not ‘feeling it’ for Mexican…
Same goes with Japanese mayo - strange I know, but I’ll get over it in a couple of months, I hope. That’s what happens when I break the routine I normally order the ham & cheese a crepe which isn’t at all innovative but it tastes good every time.
We both also had strawberry milkshakes which were delicious - full of flavour and blended with generous serves of ice-cream - just the way I like it!
We had all of the above for $30 with the entertainment book discount voucher. It was great value for money especially for everything we ate!
Needless to say we rolled back to work very slowly but very satisfied…

I always eyed this place off when we came to Perth when I was younger, it held some sort of magical mystery to me. Having said this, I’ve never been inside! I wonder if they have a gluten free option or buckwheat crepes..
I will ask them next time I visit unless you get there before me 😉
