Special Gourmet Village ticket offer for Margaret River’s Gourmet Escape

November just seems to be the month that everything happens. For those of you who live in Western Australia, you’ll know Margaret River’s food and wine festival Gourmet Escape is coming up this November 22 – 25. Thanks to the promoters, foodie cravings readers can purchase two Gourmet Village tickets for $50 (usually $74 for two) for Sunday November 25. Simply visit Ticketek via this special foodie cravings Gourmet Village link.

The Gourmet Village program sounds great, Heston Blumenthal (The Fat Duck), Matt Moran (MorSul), Peter Gilmore (Quay), Neil Perry (Rockpool) and other renowned international and local chefs will be all at the beautiful Leeuwin Estate Winery showcasing their cooking prowess through cooking demonstrations, master classes, wine tastings and Q&As over the 24/25 Nov weekend. I’m told the chefs will be also mingling among the crowd – when I went to see Heston’s show earlier this year at His Majesty’s Theatre, one patron paid $1000 for her ticket so this might be a cheaper way to meet the great man :)

Margaret River’s Gourmet Escape is also an awesome opportunity to try local gourmet food and wine from the best producers in the southwest region – visit the Gourmet Escape website for accommodation suggestions if you’re planning to stay the weekend.

I hope burger boy and I can fit the Gourmet Escape in next month, but if we don’t make it, I look forward to hearing all about your experiences.

foodie cravings

I’m a foodie who enjoys trying new food anywhere / any place (restaurants, cafes, bars, market stalls, fast food joints…anywhere just name it!) both in Perth, Western Australia and on my travels. I’m not your ordinary foodie, I’m often described as ‘fussy’ but I really really do love my food - I guess just not everything that’s put on my plate. Though, my other half, ‘burger boy’, eats most foods so I’ll be blogging about what he eats too…and as the name implies, burgers will be a regular foodie blog for all you burger lovers outthere. I love showcasing my yummy food finds with pics so I thought why not share my passion for food with other foodies with my blog, foodie cravings. Follow my food journey as I discover new keepers and rave about my all-time favourites.
